Destination Covered: Trivandrum – Kovalam – Thothapali – Periyar – Munnar – Cochin

Day 01: Arrive Trivandrum
Arrive at The Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station, you will be you will be transferred to one of the Resorts at Kovalam Beach. The afternoon or evening will be full of leisure that will bring lot of relaxing activities like working out in the gym, swimming and trying out some of the continental dishes. Overnight stay at the Hotel

Day 02: Kovalam
After a leisurely morning view the important places of Kovalam. It is 'Paradise of the South' and is flooded with tourists from all over the world. So it gives us the opportunity to enjoy the best of natural beauty. Spend time at leisure in the afternoon. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 03: Kovalam
Enjoy the water sports at the Kovalam Beach. Start with the swimming and bathing in its crystal blue waters. After that we stroll into the sea for about 100 meters, Engage in sunbathing at the beach. You can even engage in snorkeling to experience the exotic marine life. Try out the grilled sea food such as lobster, king prawns, and kalamari, which are get fresh from the sea at Kovalam. Later practice Yoga and meditation. Overnight at the hotel

Day 04: Kovalam - Thothapali (Overnight Houseboat)
In the morning drive to Thothapali to board an overnight houseboat houseboat. Cruise around backwaters of Alleppey to Kumarakom to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 05: Arrive Kumarakom
After breakfast proceed towards the Kumarakom backwaters, the cluster of little islands on the Vembanand Lake. Backwaters cruise on the leisure boat at the Kumarakom is surely the most enchanting experience of the lifetime. Emerald palms and coconut trees on the on the either side of the boat provides mesmerizes you with its immense beauty. Vembanad Lake is home to several types of marine life exclusively the Karimeen (Pearl Spotted Fish), Chemeen (Prawns) & Konju (Tiger Prawns).

Later visit the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary. There are two seasons for birds: between October & February     there are cormorants, teals, & other ducks & from February to July there are darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, & Siberian storks. It also has golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen, tree pie etc. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 06: Kumarakom - Periyar (135 kms - 4 hr)
In the morning we head towards one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar, we assist you to check in at hotel. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. Late afternoon at 1500 hrs we shall take you to a guided Spice and plantation tour in one of the Spice Gardens / Plantations for which this region is famous. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 07: Periyar - Munnar (160 kms - 4 hr)
Early this morning before breakfast we go for a wildlife viewing to the Sanctuary on the Periyar Lake through boat cruise which gives us the opportunity to view its exotic wildlife. The major attractions at the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary includes tigers, leopards, elephants, bison (gaur), antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, money etc, and a wide variety of birds. Later in the morning return to your hotel for breakfast and set off to drive for Munnar, arrive Munnar and check in at the Hotel

Day 08 : Munnar
Munnar that is one of the most popular hill stations in India. It is located at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 Mts. above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Now venture into the tea gardens and enchant with the workers working there. You can also trekking with your friends passing through the winding lanes.

Morning post breakfast head for a brief tour of Munnar, visiting the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green hills all around - a place to be seen to be believed, and Eravikulam National Park (Park is closed in the month of January and February), the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). Return to your hotel in the late morning with day free for leisure or optional activities to explore the destination on your own.

Day 09 : Munnar - Cochin (150 kms - 4 hr)
Morning after breakfast set off to drive for Cochin, which always had a very popular and historical sea trade connection with Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, Dutch and British. It has one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian coastline. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. It is one of the few places in the world where one can see a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, architecture, mosques, temples and Chinese fishing nets, all in one city. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala's commercial hub. Arriving at Cochin at afternoon with time free for won activities. Evening you are transferred to Fort Cochin area to view the Kathakali dance performance

Day 10 : Cochin - Departure
Morning city tour of Cochin, and visits the St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568, spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, and Chinese fishing nets.
Later in the afternoon or evening transfer to airport to board flight for onward Journey.
